BMS : Smarter buildings, greater performance
BMS : Smarter buildings, greater performance
Unlock your buildings’ full potential for a low-carbon future
Buildings face a barrage of critical global challenges. Rising energy costs, stringent decarbonisation mandates, complex digital integration, and the need for uninterrupted operations demand transformative solutions that go beyond automation.
At Equans, we orchestrate building intelligence to drive performance, sustainability, and resilience. Our customised Building Management Systems (BMS) empower clients to regain control, anticipate operational needs, and significantly reduce carbon emissions.
What BMS delivers: three levels of “smart”
With buildings responsible for around 37% of global energy and process-related CO₂ emissions, Europe's EPBD targeting zero-emission new buildings by 2030 (and the existing stock by 2050), and France's BACS Decree requiring automation and control for non-residential HVAC > 290 kW from 1 January 2025, the stakes are clear: control, efficiency and flexibility must be built in.
Our integrated Business Management Systems approach enables buildings to:
- Consume less: Deploy BMS, LED lighting, thermal renovation, and waste heat recovery to reduce energy usage at every level.
- Consume green: Integrate renewable energy sources such as heat pumps, biomass, and on-site solar photovoltaic systems for self-consumption.
- Consume flexibly: Implement energy storage systems, smart grids, and intelligent demand response strategies to optimise energy use based on real-time needs.
Our value proposition: buildings that think, act, and evolve
