Food rations are packaged, stored and distributed to French troops by the Etablissement Logistique du Commissariat des Armées d’Angers (17,000 m²).
It asked EQUANS to modernise and improve its two preparation lines, significantly increase production capacity and enhance its automated quality control systems all while improving operator working conditions and cart flow.

INEO Center’s Robotics Lab and INEO Atlantique’s Maine Anjou agency are handling all design work and deliverables (electrical and mechanical design studies, automation, robotics, machine integration, industrial computing, assembly, cabling, commissioning and training). The existing facilities are being modernized and updated with innovative order preparation solutions that call on robots and vertical storage systems.
Performance
The Ministry of the Armed Forces wants to turn this facility into a showcase for its 4.0 approach, as French military rations set the international standard.
