EQUANS Peru and LEGADO come together through a contract for Facility Management hard, soft and maintenance of fields and sports equipment of 5 venues that include VIDENA, Villa María del Triunfo, Villa El Salvador, Costa Verde and Punta Rocas.
Sports infrastructure that was used for the Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games, which was a massive sporting event that brought together leading athletes from the continent.
This project is the first infrastructure management contract in Facility Management in Peru, under the Government-to-Government modality signed with the United Kingdom of Great Britain, which guarantees a transparent and pioneering process in the State with which it is hoped that the collaborative management model implemented is replicated in the public sector.
This model contemplates specialties such as lighting, air conditioning, electrical networks, electronic security, fire systems, soft facility services and others, highlighting various benefits such as efficiency in resource management, reduction of operating costs, integration of contracts, personnel specialized, alignment of service levels under international maintenance standards and collaborative contract subject to performance evaluation.
Through the participation of more than 500 collaborators that cover 577,000 m2 of services in the operation of the project, different specialties are integrated with the aim of maintaining the value of the infrastructure, in addition to providing optimal service standards to athletes, the community and the search for efficiencies through the synergies achieved by the integrated service with future possibilities of implementing energy efficiency initiatives and the use of resources to reduce the carbon footprint.
