Equans, backed by its technical expertise in carbon neutrality and energy efficiency, is launching Carbon Shift to help simplify the transformation process for its customers. Carbon Shift unites several hundred experts with the ability to help businesses genuinely go carbon-free, by reducing their energy consumption and shifting their heating, cooling, and vehicle fleet needs to electric power.
Carbon covers the entire range of services, from initial energy and CO2 assessments, and help in defining a regulatory trajectory, SBTI, CSRD, etc., to implementing a detailed plan costed by electrical and thermal engineering professionals, and then setting up systems to reduce energy consumption, erase consumption peaks and switch energy needs to electric.
Carbon Shift aggregates and makes it easier to access Equans' extensive range of skills, in terms of IT, regulation automation, electric or thermal storage, heat pumps, electric fleet management, solar power, and mini grids.
Carbon Shift provides an end-to-end solution independent of all energy producers, enabling customers of all sizes to minimise their carbon-based energy consumption by focusing on their core expertise while retaining complete flexibility to seek out the best energy pricing.
“ We have undertaken hundreds of carbon neutrality projects for our customers, redesigning plant heat production, computerising building controls, storing summer thermal energy for winter use, installing self consumption solar photovoltaic systems. Our customers ask us to combine all these solutions so that they can optimise their plan for reducing their environmental footprint and then implement it. That's why we're delighted to be launching Carbon Shift, a global brand, currently in France and the Netherlands and soon in other countries bringing together hundreds of experts with access to thousands of Equans engineers. Electric power is rapidly becoming carbon neutral, and we now have the capacity to make our customers' infrastructure, processes and transport carbon free, so that we can all progress towar ds achieving Net Zero Carbon in the near future. It's a major step for our company, a strategic commitment for Equans, a commitment to building our clients' essential strategic energy plans and contributing to their long term economic performance. ”
Carbon Shift will draw on Equans' global expertise to roll solutions through local teams that can provide:
